RUA 141—A name that may initially sound like an address, but it is more than that. We understand the street as an element of connection, present in all major cities, linking the most diverse places and forming a network composed of different scales and identities. It is also the stage for encounters, human relations, and cultural exchange.
This connection—represented by the street—between the projects we develop and our social responsibility as an architecture firm is not only part of our purpose but is also expressed through 141, our one-for-one business model. For every project we are hired to do, we contribute to the development of another in underserved communities.
The firm develops projects inspired by the relationships between people and the metropolis. We believe in the power of collaborative work and in building horizontal relationships, bringing together professionals with distinct expertise who seek to explore new aesthetic languages that tell different stories.
This network-based approach enables the development of more conceptual projects, rich in meaning and creativity, while also allowing for collaboration between professionals in different cities.
The result is that each project is developed in a unique way, based on the needs of each client. The work is carried out with care and transparency, from the project’s conception to the completion of construction.
Rua 141 Arquitetura was founded in 2015 by architect and urban planner Mona Feldman Singal.
