A 220 m² apartment in a residential building from the 1970s underwent its first renovation in 2012, with a project developed by the firm Brasil Arquitetura, which defined its entire layout and structural concept. In 2021, the family hired the office RUA 141 to carry out new interventions in the apartment. The project was based on the premise of continuing the design language created in 2012, valuing the work previously done.

The renovation was divided into three phases, following the children’s school vacations. In 2021, the first part of the renovation was completed in the private area: the flooring was replaced, acoustic ceiling panels were installed, and the master suite received a new layout, finishes, and custom cabinetry; the closet was also built. In 2022, the children’s bathrooms and the master bathroom were renovated. New finishes and cabinetry were installed in the service area and service bathroom. Finally, in 2023, the last stage was completed, including the entrance hall, social area, powder room, and balcony.
